MEI is an independent charity committed to improving mathematics education and is also an independent UK curriculum development body. MEI manages the Further Mathematics Support Programme. The MEI website has resources and information to support the teaching of 14-19 mathematics.

MEI organises an annual MEI conference as well as providing professional development for teachers of mathematics.

The UKMT is a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics. The UKMT organises national mathematics competitions and other mathematical enrichment activities for 11-18 year old UK school pupils. Over 600,000 pupils from 4000 schools take part in their three individual challenges. The UKMT also run team mathematics competitions for two age ranges, publish books and organise enrichment seminars for teachers.

The FMSP is listed in the STEM directories which are a listing of Enhancement and Enrichment (E&E) opportunities to support your science, engineering, design and mathematics teaching. Grants of up to £500 for a mathematics E&E activity for your school are available.
